iQ Student Accommodation has announced it has appointed Peter Holden as Chief Development and Investment Officer. Peter will serve as part of the UK operational team, reporting to CEO Rob Roger. 

Peter joins iQ Student Accommodation from Round Hill Capital, where he spent five years establishing and leading the company’s investment and development programme in Europe and USA.

At Round Hill Capital, Peter was responsible for delivering over 40 development projects in eight countries – totalling over 13,000 purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) and Build to Rent (BTR) homes, large scale master planned communities, strategic land, logistics and commercial developments. Peter has previously held senior leadership roles with Hines Europe, Arcadis NV and BAA plc.

Peter is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and a regular contributor to international conferences on real estate investment and development. He holds a BSc in Construction Management from Manchester University and an MSc in European Real Estate from Kingston University.
