Fresh announces the management of the Oldway Centre PBSA scheme – its first with property investor - Midos Group.

Fresh, the UK & Ireland’s leading specialist third-party manager of residential for rent homes announces its first management agreement with boutique family-owned property investor – Midos Group.

The 556-bed PBSA scheme – called the Oldway Centre – is in the heart of Swansea is already operating. Fresh will take over management in early August 2021 – ahead of the start of the 2021/22 academic year for a five-year term. The high-quality scheme offers residents a range of amenities for socialising and study – including a gym, cinema room, 100mbps fibre optic wi-fi, bike storage and games room.

Fresh has strong experience in the city and was the first PBSA operator in Swansea, which is booming as university student numbers have increased 11.5% over the last three years, while students from Trinity St David’s University have increased by 47.9%. UCAS also reported an overall increase in student applications for September 2021.

The addition of the Oldway Centre PBSA scheme adds to Fresh’s growth over the last year, where it has successfully onboarded approx. 1,800 operational student homes and topped the table of new beds bought into management by around 1,000 student homes. In February 2021, Fresh also secured Ares’ first UK student schemes.
