Bath Spa University’s purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) scheme – Green Park House – has hit the market with Beachrock for offers over £70m – reflecting £150,000 a bedroom. The scheme opened in 2016 and is located in the heart of Bath. Built using classic Bath stone, the development is an impressive feature on the Bath skyline.

Accommodating 461 students, the scheme includes standard rooms with en-suites, standard rooms with shared bathrooms, private studio flats and two bed apartments (also known as twodios). There are also two accessible rooms in cluster flats and two accessible studios.

The scheme offers students high standard accommodation, which is fitted with quality, purpose-built furniture. It also offers a laundry room, bicycle storage facilities, a student common room and a bookable study/meeting space.

The scheme is within easy access to Bath Spa University’s Newton Park Campus, and is walking distance to both The Circus and Dartmouth Avenue. The Sion Hill Campus is also accessible via a local bus service operating from the bus station, which is a short walk from Green Park House.

Green Park House is on the market with Beachrock – a new boutique funding house set up a year ago by PBSA experts James Pullan and Sam Ball – referred to as industry veterans. The company also sold Jewel for £210m – which reflected a price of 5.25% NIY to new entrants Apollo. Beachrock is now selling one of the most interesting assets to come to market in 2021 on behalf of a University.
