DPP Planning have secured reserved matters consent for a new purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) scheme – called Triumph House – in Nottingham following outline consent earlier this year.

Acting on behalf of Cassidy Group, DPP Planning have achieved consent for a five storey, student development located directly adjacent to Nottingham University’s Jubilee Campus. Designed by Maber, the consent paves the way for the next stage of the project with discharge of conditions underway and a start on site due in early 2022.

Located on Triumph Road in Nottingham, the Triumph House proposal comprises 270 student bedrooms. Amenities include a reception, cinema, social spaces and study spaces, with generous landscaped amenity areas facing onto the River Leen. This project is one of five student development schemes DPP Planning are currently working on in the city, which in total will deliver almost 2,000 new student beds.

“We’re delighted to have continued our successful partnership with the Cassidy Group and achieve planning in order to progress this project to the next stages. We’re already working on the conditions applications in order to keep the momentum and look forward to a start on site in the short term. Progress such as this will certainly help to continue the ongoing regeneration of the Jubilee Campus and surrounding area and builds on DPP’s 100% success rate of securing student accommodation schemes in the city”
