Acting on behalf of APPS Living, the Student Property team of global property consultancy Knight Frank has launched The APPS Living Portfolio in Coventry to the market. Knight Frank is seeking offers in excess of £20.92m for the purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) portfolio.

The three-asset portfolio includes the properties Shunde Place, Fortress House and Waters Court. The three assets total 225 student bedrooms split into 185 en-suite cluster rooms and 40 studio rooms. Amenity spaces are also included within each of the three schemes of The APPS Living Portfolio and include common areas, study space and car parking.

“The APPS Living portfolio presents outstanding value within one of the largest student markets in the UK. This is a unique opportunity for investors to acquire a substantial quantum of beds in central Coventry, offering affordable, modern rooms for students at both The University of Warwick and Coventry University.

“We are delighted to launch this portfolio to the market on behalf of APPS Living.”

Rupert Strutt, an Associate in the Student Property team, Knight Frank

The APPS Living Portfolio schemes are situated in the heart of Coventry city centre, close to local amenities. The schemes are ideally located for students attending both the University of Warwick and Coventry University.

“The properties in this portfolio are all situated in prime Coventry city centre locations, all within the immediate vicinity of shops, restaurants, banks and other essential amenities. The accommodation has been very popular amongst, both, domestic and overseas students throughout the years.”

Jeffy Li, Director, APPS Living

According to recent research released by Knight Frank, the UK PBSA sector is forecast to achieve a total value of over £72bn by the end of 2022. The sector is gaining momentum thanks to the return of in-person teaching and increased demand from students.
