The North East Purchasing Consortium (NEUPC), the UK’s largest purchasing consortium for student accommodation reappoints furnishing solutions provider, David Phillips, who is now listed as a recommended supplier for residential furniture, beds and mattresses for the next four years.
Encompassing eight university bodies, the NEUPC furniture framework is focused on sourcing sustainably, as both suppliers and the universities seek to form partnerships that contribute to their Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) goals.
David Phillips works closely with estate managers, heads of procurement and residential life staff to ensure all their needs are met; with high-quality, design-led furniture solutions. As part of this appointment, David Phillips will assist NEUPC with amenity spaces, providing design and furnishings for shared and communal areas around university campuses.
“Collaborating with our university clients and working to deliver a wide array of design and furniture solutions is key for our business. The pandemic has been a challenging period for both the student accommodation sector and furniture industry as a whole – having an open-line of communication and a strong customer-focused service has been crucial to maintaining our successful working relationships.”
