London-based real estate developer – Dominvs Group – announces it has appointed Martin Meech, former long-time CEO of Travis Perkins Properties, as a Senior Advisor to the Board. Martin is currently the Senior NED at Warehouse REIT PLC and a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

The new Board appointment signals Dominvs Group’s continued ambition for further growth as it expands into new asset classes. The appointment follows fast on the heels of landmark planning consents for purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) schemes in Hammersmith and Holborn.

“Martin brings a huge amount of experience, expertise and energy to Dominvs, and his incredible track-record at Travis Perkins and his reputation in the industry speaks for itself. I know he’s going to be an invaluable source of independent advice and strategic guidance for the business as we continue to ambitiously grow and expand.”

Martin brings over four decades of property experience to Dominvs Group, spanning M&A, strategic development, finance structuring and operational property activities. Between 2005 and 2021, he was Group Property Director at Travis Perkins PLC and CEO of Travis Perkins Properties, where he spearheaded the business’ expansion into mixed-use development schemes blending residential and industrial use.

Under Martin’s direction, Travis Perkin Properties’ freehold portfolio grew to over £1bn whilst, at the same time, generating surplus cash and enhanced returns. Prior to joining Travis Perkins, Martin held property director roles at a number of PLC companies – including Halfords, Gateway Supermarkets and Dixons Group. He was also previously Chair of the BRC Property Advisory Group, a member of the Bank of England Property Forum, and an NED at Quintain Estates PLC.

“This is an incredibly exciting time to join Dominvs Group. I was immediately struck by Dominvs’ blend of entrepreneurial energy, its openness to new ideas and opportunities, and its commitment to excellent execution. I look forward to working with the team.”
