Osborne appoints new Group Finance Director

Osborne announces it has appointed a new Group Finance Director, as the current Director steps down after 17 years.

Developer, builder, offsite manufacturer and property maintenance business – Osborne – appoints Peter Duff as Group Finance Director. Peter will replace Stuart Hammond who is stepping down from the role after 17 years with the business.

Peter joins Osborne from his previous role as European Finance Director at Laing O’Rourke. Previously, Peter held senior financial positions with major contractors and construction industry customers. He is a graduate of Pembroke College, Cambridge and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

In July 2022, Osborne announced that the company repositioned itself to take advantage of the zero-carbon agenda. Osborne Developments also sold two purpose-built student accommodation schemes in August 2022 – its Elmstead Place Colchester scheme to Ropemaker Properties and Newgate Place, a consented scheme in Norwich to Singapore Press Holdings Limited (SPH)
