Vita Group’s flagship Vita Student brand has been present in India for a long time. Following a surge in demand from Indian students, Vita Student has invested in the next phase of its brand development in India, formally opening an office in the country and recruiting a team on the ground.

The new office will be headed up by Maitry Upreti. The office will play a vital role in building relationships with established partners, as well as promoting Vita Student’s award-winning student accommodation across the country.

In 2021, 118,000 Indian students were granted a visa to study in the UK – a sharp increase of 89% on the previous year, which was somewhat marred by the pandemic.

“India is a growing market which places incredible value and prestige on UK higher education. It’s this increasing demand which continues to draw students from across Asia as British degrees continue to become one of the UK’s greatest exports. It’s this growth in demand which makes India an incredibly exciting market to broaden Vita Student’s brand awareness.”
