
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) operator – Project Student – appoints Shelley Bellett as Operations Director, as the company prepares for growth. With ambitious plans for growth this year, the operator is focused on becoming a major player in the sector – meeting the growing need for a diverse portfolio.
Shelley brings with her 17 years’ experience in the PBSA sector, which includes positions at Yugo, Greystar, iQ and Liberty Living. Having progressed through multiple roles in the industry, her latest appointment as Operations Director will provide the operator with strategic and operational expertise in all areas.

Project Student was founded by CEO and Founder Oliver Rayns, whose expertise spans sales, lettings and management. The company has established a growing portfolio of student accommodation across the country, with a 12-building portfolio in six UK cities.
Shelley’s appointment comes at a time when the operator has several additional properties being mobilised for practical completion this year, with an additional pipeline heading into 2024. Shelley will be responsible for creating operational efficiencies and innovations that will benefit a scaling business for both the client and the end-user.
