Your Tribe’s appointment of Duncan Palmer follows the recent £29.6m funding from Paragon Bank for their upcoming Old Kent Road PBSA development.
As the company prepares to launch their first live 267-bed PBSA development on Ilderton Road this Autumn, Duncan joins Your Tribe from Mapletree, where he worked for the past year as Director of Student Housing.
The funding for Your Tribe will result in a ten to 12-storey development, with 257 sqm of retail/restaurant space on the ground floor level.
Works have already started and the scheme is expected to be complete for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Duncan began his career at UPP where he worked for 14 years starting as Revenue Manager and working his way up to Managing Director of UPP Residential Services.
Following this role, Duncan became Director of Student Accommodation and then Director of Campus and Accommodation Services at University College London, where he stayed for six years.
At Your Tribe, Duncan’s role involves enhancing the standard of residential student accommodation and communal facilities to ensure it meets the changing expectations of students.
