Homes for Students are taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for Student Minds. The challenge involves walking the three largest mountains situated in Scotland (Ben Nevis – 1345m), England (Scafell Pike – 978m) and Wales (Snowdon – 1085m).

Last year, the Homes for Students team raised over £14,000 for Student Minds, the UK’s student mental health charity, through its Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge.

This year, the team want to go one better by taking on the National Three Peaks for the charity again.

The PBSA provider has been a proud partner of Student Minds since 2021.

Student Mind’s ethos is to empower students and members of the university community to develop the knowledge, confidence and skills to look after their own mental health, support others and create change.

A team of volunteers from across the UK will be walking the three mountains across three weeks:

  • The Snowdon charity hike on Friday 2 June.
  • The Scafell Pike hike on Friday 9 June.
  • The Ben Nevis hike on Thursday 15 June.

Throughout last year, Homes for Students raised over £100k for multiple causes; their most record-breaking year to date.
