Specialist third-party manager of residential for rent homes – Fresh – has renewed contracts with CLS Holdings PLC to continue to manage the 393-bed Spring Mews PBSA in Vauxhall, London.

Ideally located for students studying in London, the Spring Mews scheme has transport links to all the major academic institutions such as the London School of Economics, Kings College and Imperial. Residential amenities include a study room, gym, indoor swimming pool, cycle store, courtyard and cinema room.

CLS, in partnership with Fresh, recently completed a refurbishment of some of the Spring Mews social spaces using the ‘Refresh’ service. The project, which was undertaken by Fresh’s parent company Watkins Jones, was designed to maximise the existing study spaces through updating soundproofing and lighting, alongside a revamp of an underutilised meeting room to create a brand-new cinema and separate multi-function room with facilities that can be customised for yoga and dance, meetings or as an art studio.

“We are delighted to continue our relationship with CLS and to manage their Spring Mews property in Vauxhall for the next five years. The relationship and continuity of service has delivered for students, CLS and the Fresh team. Our team on site do an incredible job backed up with our central service team of subject matter experts. It was very pleasing to work on the recent refresh project in conjunction with Watkin Jones, was completed ahead of schedule with minimal disruption with the aim to maximise the use of social spaces and value of money for residents. Our residents are our number one priority, and the renewal reflects the excellent work our team undertakes.”

The renewal also means residents will continue to benefit from Fresh’s award-winning Be Wellbeing programme, which aims to create a sense of belonging and community for all its residents through its four pillars: be active, be connected, be social and be supported, all led by dedicated Fresh site teams.

The programme also provides resource hubs to support residents with both their mental health and wellbeing and provides them with a Be action calendar to encourage community engagement and activities.

“We are pleased to renew our partnership with Fresh as third-party manager of Spring Mews, our conveniently located student accommodation nestled in the heart of Vauxhall, London. This renewal follows the success of the recent refurbishment and the continued 100% occupancy rate for the academic year 2023/24. This reaffirms our confidence in Fresh’s expertise and commitment to delivering outstanding living spaces for students through their management, advisory service.”
