Scape Lachlan has officially topped out, marking another milestone in the future of the KeKi precinct. The striking new purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) precinct is transforming the skyline of Kensington, Australia, which is close to the University of New South Wales.
Built by Infinity Constructions Group – the company’s second project for Scape Australia – it is set to be a landmark development.
The scheme consists of two towers, rising to 18 and nine storeys respectively, delivering modern student living with a focus on quality, sustainability and community.
Opening in early 2026, Scape Lachlan is their third property in the KeKi precinct. It’s a pioneering concept that blends student living with housing for young professionals, supplying 523 thoughtfully designed and curated apartments with more communal spaces, and amenities designed for connection, comfort and community.

Across all levels, doors open wide creating a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor living. At street level, retail and hospitality spaces will continue to energise this growing innovation and entertainment corridor.
More than a building, Scape Lachlan is about connection, helping young residents live well, now and into the future. Designed by architecture firm SJB, the PBSA development will contribute significantly to the urban transformation of the Kensington area, providing modern accommodation and amenities for students and young workers.
“We celebrated this milestone with our partner Infinity Constructions Group Pty. Ltd., alongside UNSW, Randwick City Council, Randwick District Rugby Union Football Club, and an inspiring group of people who’ve helped bring this vision to life.”
