As the group hit the £1bn investments landmark, Melburg Capital has appointed George Fisher as an Investment Associate. In his new role, George will support the company’s London-based acquisition and management teams.
Joining from Helical, George has also held research-led, analytical roles at LondonMetric and Investec Asset Management.

In December 2024, Melburg Capital, alongside TPG Angelo Gordon, completed a £75.5m development facility with Maslow Capital to bring forward their joint venture eco purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) scheme in the heart of Bristol city centre. The scheme will include 399 student beds whilst retaining the original office structure.
Last year, Melburg Capital also secured planning approval for 360 Bristol – a 399-bed PBSA development which is expected to be complete by June 2026.
