SAV Group has acquired a purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) development site in Edinburgh. Located close to Leith Walk, construction of the £35m scheme is set to get underway soon, with completion expected in Q2 2027.

The new PBSA scheme will deliver 112 studio apartments and a range of modern amenities including a cinema, games room, library, gym, a study area and shared outdoor space.

Sustainability elements will also be a feature of the scheme, with the inclusion of a rainwater management system and solar panels. The Edinburgh PBSA development is also targeting a BREEAM Excellent rating – which is used to specify and measure the sustainability performance of buildings.

“Our land acquisition marks a significant milestone for SAV Group and our commitment to delivering innovative, sustainable PBSA in Edinburgh.

“By integrating groundbreaking technology and green design features, we aim to set a benchmark for student living that prioritises comfort, wellbeing and environmental responsibility.”
