Both our heating control systems operate in the same way.
Rooms are kept at a constant, comfortable temperature – let’s say 18°C – this is called the Setback temperature.
If the occupant wants the room to be warmer, they simply press the ‘up’ button and the system enters Boost Range, this is usually 23°C.
AUTO-OFF HOB CONTROL
HobSensus is a device that prevents hobs from being left switched on if a kitchen is unattended.
It is both a sensor and a timer. The timer cuts power to the hob when the pre-set time elapses. The 64-zone sensor watches over the cooking surface. If temperatures approach dangerous levels it generates an audible and visual alarm. If no action is taken to reduce the temperature, the power to the hob will be cut. When connected to a fire alarm, if it activates, the HobSensus multi-hob-off feature can cut the power to the hobs in all kitchens, an additional safety measure in the event of a full building evacuation.
Simple and quick to install and easy to operate, HobSensus brings the peace of mind that the risk of a COOKER FIRE is reduced, and your kitchen is a safer place.
